2006-10-20 [NOOOPE]: dude, they talk about that is a book I read called Blink! <- Sweet book. READ IT
2006-10-20 [Lothuriel]: I will have to check that out...I am still looking. Do you remember the exact term for the theory.
2006-10-20 [NOOOPE]: In blink is was called, well, mind reading. The people studied the muscles in the human face, the lines it forms, the research is so detailed they have used it in pixar movies to animate faces. Anyway, they study facial movement in regards to emotion and personality. They are able to train themselves to see split second facial expressions that let them tell if a person is really happy or not. They can basically read their mind through the expressions everyone else misses. Also, they use it to surmise a person's personily by looking at the lines on their face since they know what muscle made what wrinkle and what the flexing of that part of the face means emotionally. It's super cool.
2006-10-20 [Lothuriel]: well, that is not exactly what I am talking about. This theory talks about how physical features like the shape of your face, you nose size, lip shapes, etc can actually determine what kind of personality you have.
2006-10-20 [Linn Scarlett]: shall i relief thy from thine burder elysian? :P and make it 13 1/2 :P
2006-10-20 [Elisha Kelly]: lol... well you guys Know me... a total Drama Queen :P OMFG!!!! Look a one eyed toad how portentous!!!!
2006-10-21 [moonscale]: My friend was telling me how other traits can be linked as well.
2006-10-21 [Kileaiya]: I've put up some local legends in L & F (Local Southern Legend and Folklore as told by Ki)
2006-10-21 [Lothuriel]: *goes to check it out*
2006-10-21 [Elisha Kelly]: spooky... I should do up some aussie ones... there is a place in oz that when people enter they never come out... >:)
2006-10-21 [Lothuriel]: *is anxious*
2006-10-21 [Lothuriel]: Added two links for Kentucky spooks and fixed some typos.
2006-10-21 [Kileaiya]: Cool Paranormal Message Board, where you can find photos and video footage (if you look hard enough =P) http://www.une
2006-10-21 [Gav.]: Am always interested in Cryptozoology, i'm a member at http://www.cry
2006-10-21 [Lothuriel]: Anyone who wishes to make a banner is more than welcome. Please keep it simple and clean looking. Thanks!
2006-10-21 [banu]: I will try to make a banner when I find time:)
2006-10-21 [Lothuriel]: Awesome!
2006-10-21 [banu]: I will try to draw a banner with charcoal pencil:)
2006-10-22 [Kileaiya]: Temp Banner, anyone?
2006-10-22 [Misty Lady]: I like it....can I put it in my house please.
2006-10-22 [Perplexity]: Hey very cool banner, Kileaiya! I likes!
2006-10-22 [Lothuriel]: Awesome, thanks!
2006-10-23 [Kileaiya]: Thanks!
Feel free to use it anyone, that's what it's there for. :D
2006-10-23 [Elisha Kelly]: :) your so good at banners :P
2006-10-23 [moonscale]: What do you use to make your banners?
2006-10-23 [Kileaiya]: Photoshop CS2
2006-10-23 [Thistlewood]: Would you like us to put the cryptozoology links on that wiki?
2006-10-23 [Lothuriel]: Hm...I have been thinking we should move the links to the proper sub wiki but, some of them include a little of everything. So, maybe if the website is specific to only crypto stuff that would be a good idea. I am open with this wiki. I just want it to be mostly for you guys.
2006-10-24 [Ŧhe Jøker]: so uh... who here believes in bigfoot...
2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: Me! XD And the Loch Ness monster, Oggopoggo, the Yeti and other such 'mythical' critters.
2006-10-24 [Ŧhe Jøker]: i really wouldnt consider them "mythical", and i think loch ness is a bunch of crap, but i swear ive seen bigfoot... im not one of those obssessed peeps either, i just believe in it...
and u.f.o's
and other random stuff
2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: Maybe but consider the coelacanth, a fish previously believed extinct for millions of years that was discovered to be alive and well in the early 1900s?? http://en.wiki
What if the Loch Ness monster is another example of a previously believed extinct creature such as the plesiosaurus or even an undiscovered species. Certainly the legend has been sadly propogated by many hoaxes but as with all legends, there is a kernel of truth at its core. If Bigfoot could potentially be a yet undiscovered simian or another great ape, why not the Loch Ness monster an undiscovered species of sea dweller? No one believed in gorillas until they were found and studied. ;) How can you believe in one 'legend' and be so ready to discount another?
2006-10-25 [moonscale]: People have chaecked the inseide of loch ness with radar and so on. Its apparently quite empty.
2006-10-25 [Elisha Kelly]: yea but I have heard that there are caverns that link some of the lochs together... and that they are so deep... and stuff like that. :) we are supposed to have a bunyip in australia... and the Yowie XD
2006-10-25 [moonscale]: Did you add those? I have never heard of them before.
2006-10-25 [Elisha Kelly]: naaa... not yet XD I am still working on my own personal stories nad folklore... I am going to do black mountain next... SCARY!!! people go there and never come out again... tehy disappear! and when people go looking for the people who dissappear... well they disappear too! kinda bermuda triangle like... but this is a mountain!
2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: Ah, I've heard of the Yowie. Very similar to Bigfoot from what I hear. ;) I've also come across documentaries that tell that the Scottish lochs are really impossible to map accurately because the interlocking caverns are too deep and cold for divers and thus far, unaccessible for ROVs. Not to mention that there are areas of the oceans that are literally miles deep and out of reach for explorers at this time. Who knows what sort of creatures live there, especially when they have found an abundance of life in the depths beyond where they thought life possible gathered around rather hellish volcano vents. XD
2006-10-25 [Elisha Kelly]: :( I was watching a show on stonebabies last night... very sad... >.> Just my random thought for the day
2006-10-25 [moonscale]: Forgive my ignorance, but what are stonebabies?
2006-10-25 [Elisha Kelly]: babies who die inside their mother once they have reached fulltem, cause they are in the abdominal cavity... and they calcify over time, becoming hard as rock.
2006-10-25 [Elisha Kelly]: one woman lived for 45 years with her baby in her abdomen
2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: 45 years?? :O
2006-10-25 [Elisha Kelly]: yep.... she went into supposed labour... went to hospital (this was in 1955 in eygpt or another similar country) but she saw another woman die in labour, so when doctors told her she would have to have a ceasarian (bad spelling) she ran away back to her home, and eventually the baby stopped moving and the pains stopped. (no one knew that the baby was in her belly not uterus) She believed it was a sleeping baby (I guess she didn't want to confront the fact that he child had died) 45 years later she got pains again, and dovtors were amazed at finding that she had a baby in her... they removed it. Poor child had been mumified. Apparently what happens is that her body, reacting to the foreign mass (poor bubs, this happened after the ickle bubba died) and covered it in a layer of some sort of calcium material stuff, making the baby rockhard... hence the name stonebaby... and underneath the baby had mumified. When I heard about this several questions arose for me... firstly it must have been horrible for this woman to carry around her dead child for so long (her first and only paternal child... she had adopted three children over the years) also that she would have certainly died had the doctors preformed the caesarian as they had no idea that it was an ectopic pregnancy... she hadn't been in labour... but her pains had been the baby running out of oxeygen cause the placenta would have aged and deteriated... secondly and more disturbingly my questions concern the human soul... I think our souls (if they exist) are in our whole body not just one area... so when pregnant, the babies soul could be trapped within our own soul until birth... so if this is the case would the babies soul have been trapped within his mother??? until fianlly he was removed??? is it possible? or would he have just drifted off into the unknown afterlife? and what about fate destiny??? what would change if the mother had chosen to have that caesarian..die
2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: Hmmm... that is a tough one. Though the soul may be in fact tied to the body during life, I believe that death frees the soul from the body and that it is the soul's desire to stay near its corporeal form or living loved ones (or the fact that the person does not realise they are dead) that causes things like hauntings. Perhaps the infant continued on or perhaps it chose to stay with its mother as a comfort to her since the poor woman was aware that the child had died due to her choice. I don't believe that the souls of pregnant women and their unborn child are merged but are separate entities just as the woman's body and the foetus are separate entities. However, there are some stories and legends that refer to vengeful child spirits that return to seek revenge on the mothers that brought about their deaths though I don't think this is the case.
2006-10-25 [NOOOPE]: That is so COOL. And sweet. And kinda icky. Well, a lot icky. Still sweet though.
2006-10-25 [Elisha Kelly]: there are so many questions and possibilities for this subject... and it is all subject to what you personally believe... gosh! I mean everything that is living has an energy force around it... the aura right...? so is the aura part of your soul and if so how is a babies soul formed... ? does the sperm and egg each contain it's own little bit of something that it contributes... and what about re encarnation??? is it possible... yikes! and don't even get me started on the whole good and evil debate... and string theory and how it could apply to other dimensions and parallel universes... did you know there is supposed to be like 11 different dimensions or .0something like that... the mind boggles! I am in a very strange mood today >.>
2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: *grins and points to her forum posting about that sort of thing*
2006-10-25 [Elisha Kelly]: :O havna really looked at the forum yet.... but somedays I really do feel as though my head might explode...
2006-10-26 [Lothuriel]: I am glad to be country folk when the converstions of souls come up. I am simple. I believe the soul is not a physical thing but a state of conciousness. We exist before we are even concieved. So, we are always around in some form or another.
2006-10-26 [Elisha Kelly]: :P I is a rural person... but I tend to think to much...
2006-10-26 [Misty Lady]: I believe that too...about the soul thing.
2006-10-26 [Lothuriel]: ^___^ Which is why I formed this wiki...so many theories, so little time *is off like a flash to prepare to ghosts and goblins coming to beg for treats*
2006-10-27 [NOOOPE]: I dun beleive in souls... grarg. But I really like the idea Yuriona (I think...) posed in the forum about how our mind works with electrical impulses and whatnot, and since engery can not be created or destroyed when that engery leaves us something has to happen to it. But the whole Heaven and Hell thing... yeeeeaaah.
2006-10-27 [Lothuriel]: If I didn't believe in Heaven, I would not feel the need to exist. -___-....But, since you are interested in the electric mysteries of the human body, you should really check out Galvanism...We
2006-10-27 [NOOOPE]: I should share something I wrote with you, lothuriel. Heh, if heaven existed, I'd be like, "Oh shit."
But that I shall! That really sounds familiar... or maybe I'm thinking of calvanism? Teehee... puritans.
2006-10-27 [Lothuriel]: Nope, not the religionist person thingie...the scientist.
2006-10-28 [NOOOPE]: I got that, no worries. Just saying they sound the same, spoken-wise.
2006-10-28 [Lothuriel]: That was my sad attempt to be funny...
2006-10-28 [NOOOPE]: .... gaaaa, I need sleep then.
2006-10-28 [Lothuriel]: Nope, it is just sometimes I think I am funny when I am not...lol
2006-10-30 [Perplexity]: I just went to that ebay link. What child doesn't want a clown doll inhabited by a malevolent spirit? =D The perfect Christmas gift!
2006-10-30 [Lothuriel]: *claps* Yay!!! I put up the pics from my ghost hunt last night. There are a few more but...but Robot Chicken is on!!
2006-10-30 [Perplexity]: Everything must wait for Robot Chicken.
2006-10-30 [Thistlewood]: Would Deja vu be under ESP?
2006-10-30 [Elisha Kelly]: yeah I think so....
2006-10-30 [Yuriona]: But Deja Vu isn't a real form of precognition is it?
2006-10-30 [Elisha Kelly]: I think deja vu, well for me it's usually a remebered part of a dream... Like I'll dream I am painting and I say something to someone, and a couple of weeks later I'll be painting that same image and say the same think, and i'll suddenly realise and go woa!
2006-10-30 [Yuriona]: With me it really is just an overwhelming feeling of 'I've seen or done this before'. I've had it so strong before that its made me dizzy. O_o Now I dream in vivid colour and usually about weird stuff but I've had dreams where I'm in a particular dreamscape and I remember being in that dreamscape before in a previous dream and even remember what the previous dream was about.
2006-10-30 [Elisha Kelly]: I am like that at times... but I have had dreams were I am sure I was awake.... like the other night... I was very late and I had just gone to bed when I felt like someone was standing behind me, and my arm felt cold, so I went to pull my sheet up but I couldn't, so I willed my arm to move, and pulled the blankets up, then I felt as if someone was rubbing my belly. I ignored it an fell asleep, but I think I was already in a light doze and had fallen into deep sleep :) it's rare I have that sort of dream, but when I do have them they can be alarming.
2006-10-30 [Thistlewood]: I call those rerun dreams :). The deja vu I'm talking about for me, was I dreamed what my oldest son would look like before he was born. Then months later when I was taking pictures I remembered the dream.
2006-10-30 [Yuriona]: Oh I never have dreams that reflect real life. With my remembered dreamscape dreams though only the dreamscape is the same. The subject of the dreams is different. ^_^
Of course my dreams are usually where I'm visited by those who have passed on. My grandmother would visit my dreams regularly when she first passed and I even had a message request given to me through a dream. :O
2006-10-30 [Thistlewood]: I took almost the exact image in my dream on film.
Maybe you're a border line sensitive. Many receive their messages thru their dreams.
2006-10-30 [Yuriona]: I suspect that I am a sensitive but after the encounter I had when I was two years old, I may have unconsiously blocked the ability.
I've also had numerous dreams concerning a particular area in the field behind my parents' farmhouse. In every dream I've had with it, the area is a safe spot, almost sacred in fact and in one dream it had a 'shaman's lodge' on it. O_o
2006-10-30 [Thistlewood]: Maybe, it is the minds way of coping with things.
mmm, dreams tell you things your mind won't accept while your awake. Maybe you subconciously knew something about that spot.
2006-10-30 [Yuriona]: Could be. *nods*
I certainly think so. I have a lot of strange dreams about the land around my parents' farm actually. Including several where there's a HUGE body of water or a river back behind the barn in a different area of the same field. My family's farm is easily over 100 years old and may have been one of the original settlements in the area. I'm sure there's lots of history that I don't know about. ^^
2006-10-30 [Thistlewood]: Have you tried researching the history of the area?
2006-10-30 [Yuriona]: Not seriously. I haven't had the time though I do intend to at some future point.
2006-10-30 [Thistlewood]: A little research might reveal some things.
2006-10-30 [Thistlewood]: check this out! It's on the Travel Channel right now!
http://www.mos
2006-10-31 [Yuriona]: Awwww... nuts... missed it. *kicks puppy*
2006-10-31 [Thistlewood]: There is another one on tomorrow. At 4 o'clock.
2006-10-31 [Elisha Kelly]: o.O I block any psychic sensitivity I have cause if I ever saw a ghost I would shit a brick... hearing them is bad enough XP though I did see one once... at a cemetary in broad daylight, it was out of the corner of my eye a black man shape... he walked off which is how I noticed him, but when I turned my head he was gone... >.< it's bad enough when I can feel they are about... or when I know if they are a man or a woman... scary!!!!!
2006-10-31 [Lothuriel]: I have been told by many that I have a special gift that is unlike any they have ever seen...but I don't want it. I think it is usually the case with most "gifted" individuals.
2006-10-31 [Elisha Kelly]: what is it??? o.O
2006-10-31 [Lothuriel]: I don't think it really has a name. I have had premonitions, seen ghosts, heard them, been contacted from beyond...just lots of weird things.
2006-10-31 [Yuriona]: Last ghost I saw was a shadow ghost that followed me home from an old farmhouse. >< Goddamn thing was sitting in the recliner in my newborn daughter's room watching while I put her down. I ordered it out of the room then blessed the room with holy water. I never saw it in her room after that but we all felt it.
2006-10-31 [Elisha Kelly]: ahhhh okay kewl... I was thinking something very unusual XD
2006-10-31 [Yuriona]: Oh and my nana visited me in that house too not long after my first daughter was born. She was standing behind me as I changed my daughter's diaper and I felt a wave of love and approval come over me but I couldn't turn around. I would have freaked if I had saw her there.
2006-10-31 [Elisha Kelly]: GAH!!!! I hate the ones that follow you...
2006-10-31 [Yuriona]: Yeah, thank GOD it stayed at that house when we moved. It actually backed down finally one night after I had a fight with the hubby and after a long, emotional discussion with him I essentially ordered it to leave us the f*ck alone. It didn't stray from the basement after that but when I went back about a month after we moved to pick up our mail, I got a serious 'you are NOT welcome here' vibe from the house I left before anyone came to the door. :/
2006-10-31 [Lothuriel]: I need to proof read all me experiences and get them up. ASAP!
2006-10-31 [Elisha Kelly]: I started mine... but I haven't finished... I need to go over and re-write stuff... but I can't be bothered at the mo :P
2006-10-31 [Lothuriel]: Same here...
2006-10-31 [Perplexity]: Yesterday afternoon, at a bookstore, I came across a book called "Weird Maryland" which had a good deal of haunted locations to check out. I didn't buy it though. Later, we went over to a friend's house for dinner and what was laying on her coffee table!? That very same book! She said she thought we could go on some 'field trips' =D There are loads of locations: abandoned hospitals, graveyards, bridges, etc. And of course I will bring the camera along! I hope something worthy enough to share with EPS happens ^^
2006-10-31 [Misty Lady]: There was a programme on telly last night here about the Blair witches in Maryland. It was really spooky. Three students set out to film a documentary about the Blair witches.....th
2006-10-31 [Lothuriel]: um, Misty it isn't real. -___- It was a fake documentary made for the movie The Blair Witch which is loosely based on Tenessee's Bell Witch story. Don't feel bad. I went to the movie thinking it was real footage from these kids. Then, after the movie I found out it wasn't real and saw the actors on Letterman...
2006-10-31 [Yuriona]: Isn't there a new movie coming out based on the Bell witch story?? And has anyone seen 'White Noise'? I haven't seen it but its supposed to be as scary as hell.
2006-10-31 [Thistlewood]: White Noise is good, I've seen it.
and the movie you are talking about is An American Haunting. It is sitting on my dvd player, haven't see it yet.
2006-10-31 [Misty Lady]: Yes I now know it wasn't real...my son told me *blushes*. But I missed the beginning so when I eventually got down to watching it I didn't know the full story. Anyway it was very gripping.
2006-10-31 [Yuriona]: That's the one! Thanks Thistlewood. *adds it to list of movies to see*
2006-11-01 [Perplexity]: The Blair Witch is one of the greatest marketing achievements of all time - I loved all the additional things they filmed, like documentaries, news reports, etc. It just made the whole thing come alive. People still go out to Burkittsville, MD where all this supposedly happened to hunt for the witch, or the house where the kids died, and such. There's plenty of similar REAL stuff in Maryland like that so I can see why the film makers had so much to base this fictional account on.
2006-11-02 [Thistlewood]: My ghost experiences are getting too long, sure we just can't list locations and then make a list of what happened?
2006-11-02 [Lothuriel]: hehe...that would be fine.
2006-11-05 [Elisha Kelly]: what are psychic vampires??
2006-11-05 [Lothuriel]: oooh, that is intersting... http://en.wiki
2006-11-05 [Elisha Kelly]: oh... I never knew about that... interesting indeed.
Hey does anyone here ever dream about being possesed?
2006-11-05 [Lothuriel]: No, I can't say that I have but, when I was a child, I watched the Excorcist and pretended to be posessed. I was odd, I know. I didn't fully understand the concept of it all. I saw it as ooh, God's men will punish the stupid demon and the little girl was a hero! LOL...no wonder I am so derranged.
2006-11-05 [Elisha Kelly]: >.> I seem to have dreams like this every now and then... and they are starting up again...maybe cause I am getting restless... but it's like I am dreaming of doing everyday things, then something tries to take control and I struggle against it.... no physically but yeah... (I have forgotten how to spell again...)
2006-11-05 [Lothuriel]: Wow, that sounds interesing. Perhaps you could write some of these dreams down.
Don't worry about the spelling. I can't spell at all usually.
2006-11-05 [Elisha Kelly]: oh I have an even creepier dream which I will write down :P that one I will NEVER forget!!!!
2006-11-06 [Lothuriel]: I started out with this My Mind's Eye. There are still a lot more but, I will have to write them down later.
2006-11-09 [moonscale]: Suggestion: we should have a defenition in each gallery. In cryptzooology it should say what it is, etc. Because for some, like ESP and OBE they can be mixed up very easily.
2006-11-09 [Lothuriel]: That is a good idea. I will do that ASAP
2006-11-09 [moonscale]: Woot *feels special* you just made my day.
2006-11-09 [Lothuriel]: ^__^ Glad to be of service. It was a good suggestion!
2006-11-12 [Akayume]: cool wiki.
2006-11-13 [Lothuriel]: Thank you!
2007-01-11 [TheRogue]: Dear Abbey
my cat Peka keeps going ape shit at nothing in our house.. she attacked Erin and sliced her up pretty good.. she runs around in the hall way frizzed out and hissing.. it's happening at random moments.. i think we may be haunted..
Signed
Gonna kill my cat soon
2007-01-11 [TheRogue]: true story btw.. i hadn't considered the paranormal alternative until she did it a couple of more times.. frizzin out like someone shocked her..LOL..
2007-01-11 [TheRogue]: or she could be schitzophrenic
2007-01-11 [Yuriona]: Wow... sounds like something is harrassing your cat. Oo;;
2007-01-11 [TheRogue]: i'm usually sensitive to things like that, but lately i've been so wrapped up in crap that i wouldn't know what's around me if it painted a sign and carried it around.. >X(
2007-01-11 [Yuriona]: Hmmm... could be something's picking up on your stress and feeding on it. Some critters love negative energy like that. ><
2007-01-11 [Ariandra]: Perhpas you should try checking into the history of the area and of that house, and see if you come up with anything that might lend credence to a haunting. Or you could have your cat/house exorcised(sp?), of course! ;)
2007-01-11 [TheRogue]: hehe..
2007-01-11 [Elisha Kelly]: that or your cat is picking up stress from it's owners. My cat went skitz for a while... it would attack me at random moments, like if I was lying down it would grab my around the neck and bite before running away and hiding, then I decided to let him know just who the real boss was of the house (*nothing nasty, just stopped patting him for a week and giving him a wack when he attacked me) and he soon settled out, I guess it depends on the age of your cat, You could very well have a ghost who just doesn't like the cat, or gets a kick out of scaring it... sometimes they harass those that know they are there because they can so it leaves you and Erin alone because you guys are oblivious to it... :)
2007-01-12 [moonscale]: It could also just be your cat being...well..
2007-01-12 [Yuriona]: Not that random. I've been around cats all my life and though they did do goofy things but typically random violence like that is usually due to being antagonized by something they can't retaliate against so they act out the aggression on something they can sink their claws into. ;) For example, my parents have a big orange tabby named Dragon who is infamous for being very rough and quick to fight. When my eldest daughter was a toddler, she literally bellyflopped on the cat and pinned him down then 'petted' him. My dad was with her and saw that Dragon was totally pissed but told him to 'take it like a cat'. He did. Dragon endured the baby love from my daughter and never laid a claw or tooth on her. My brother - who's five years younger than I and always roughhouses with Dragon - wasn't so lucky. The cat marched up to him and with out warning, leapt up, dug his claws into my brother's forearm and bit him. My brother shook him off and wondered what the hell he did to deserve the beating and my dad explained that he didn't do anything to Dragon, he just happened to be the cat's outlet. ^_^ True story!
2007-01-12 [moonscale]: I can believe that! Thats what I meant too, the bit about your brother being the outlet. But your right, it may well be a malevolent spririt that is upsetting your cat.
2007-01-28 [Avrora_Black]: hello:) I'm glad to be a new member here:)
2007-01-28 [Elisha Kelly]: welcome welcome :P which rweminds me... I will get to updating my thingy eventually... christmas threw everything out...
2007-01-28 [Lothuriel]: Ugh, same here. I am still trying to catch up.
2007-04-26 [NOOOPE]: We can spam here? Can I spam here?
2007-05-31 [Paul Doyle]: Finally got around to viewing and reading this page. Posted in the forum. The first of at least two.
2007-05-31 [Lothuriel]: hehe...we may have a celebrity stop in here soon...
2007-05-31 [Yuriona]: Really?? Cool.... XD
2007-05-31 [Lothuriel]: Apparently, Grant and Brian have houses here. They both said they'd try to pop in.
2007-05-31 [Yuriona]: No way! :O
2007-05-31 [Lothuriel]: Yeppers!
2007-05-31 [Lothuriel]: soo, is it alright with you guys if I make some of the wikis public?
2007-05-31 [Yuriona]: I have no problem with that.
2007-05-31 [Thistlewood]: What [Yuriona] said!! NO WAY!!
2007-05-31 [Lothuriel]: Awesome! Then public we shall go! Just in case you know...hehe
2007-06-01 [Morningstar Rising]: Hi there all. I want to say something about cats. I too have been around them for a very long time. They do act strange at times. Our latest cat, he is 2 now, his name is Spooky, he always attacks my sisters feet for no reason at all. Well we thought it was for no reason. We started taking pictures and to our surprise we discovered that it was not our sister he was attacking, but the orbs that for some strange reason, always float around her.

2007-06-15 [Paul Doyle]: What do you guys think of this clip?
<URL:http:/
More about it here (along with my opinion): [434425 (Unknown or private posting)]
2007-06-16 [Lothuriel]: it says the url contains "a malformed link" And for the record everyone...Bri
2007-06-16 [Paul Doyle]: Fixed the link.
2007-06-16 [Yuriona]: Brain left TAPS again?? O_o I new he left once due to personal issues but didn't know he'd bailed on them again.
2007-06-17 [Lothuriel]: Well, this is the bulletin he sent out.
2007-06-18 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: I have a question about traffic lights
2007-06-18 [Yuriona]: O_o Traffic lights?
2007-06-18 [Lothuriel]: ok, [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk], ask your question but be forewarned that you will be reported as a wiki destroyer if you are here to cause trouble.
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: No not traffic lights. Streetlights I meant. How many do you guys see go off at night? Like the lights go out.
2007-06-20 [Lothuriel]: Are you asking how we are able to investigate in the dark?
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: No I'm asking when you're outside at night how often do you see a streetlight go out.
2007-06-20 [Yuriona]: Not very often. Most streetlights are on timers programmed to come on at a specific time and likewise, turn off at a specific time. The lightbulbs inside them do burn out occasionally and have to be replaced so seeing a streetlight suddenly go out wouldn't be considered that strange.
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: I see about 5 a night
2007-06-20 [Yuriona]: Do you live in a large city or a place where the lights may not be maintained regularly? Newer streetlights might also be sensor driven and turn off and on according to the amount of ambient light. If they're sensor driven, the sensor maybe faulty. Do the lights come back on while you watch or do they stay off?
2007-06-20 [Lothuriel]: There is a belief that some people can give off enough electrical energy to cause street lamps to fizzle or go out all together as they drive under them or by them. I can't remember exactly what this is called. These same people have also been known to cause electrical disturbances.
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: No quite small. No the bulbs blow. They stay off. Yeah they go off while I drive or walk past.
2007-06-20 [Yuriona]: Those with a natural high EMF? Cool. ^__^ Must be one heck of an aura.
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: wassat?
2007-06-20 [Lothuriel]: I am sorry, only speak English. I know a little French and some Itailian but that is about it.
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: Oh, whats that, i meant.
2007-06-20 [Lothuriel]: lol..OH, ok. Sorry, my old is showing....
EMF stands for Electromagneti
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: I know I apparently cant wear watches? Is that the same thing?
2007-06-20 [Lothuriel]: Yes.
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: But anyways, streetlights don't usually go out that much?
2007-06-20 [Lothuriel]: Not as far as I know. I live in the middle of nowhere. We only have one pole light and it has lasted for years.
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: haha oh, asking the wrong person.
2007-06-20 [Yuriona]: I've lived in two cities, one of them being Toronto, Ontario Canada so I can tell you that no, stretlights don't usually go out that much. :) The fact that you can't wear wristwatches is a good indicator that you affect the electrical field around you.
2007-06-20 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: Bugger. I hate it, freaks me out.
2007-06-21 [Paul Doyle]: Sometimes individual lights on a bridge are on during the day for a simple reason: seagull poo hitting the light sensors. (My father, a retired US Navy commander, explained this to me one day when I was a kid while we were driving across the Newport (RI) Bridge on a sunny day in the 1980s.)
2007-06-21 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: Ours aren't controlled by sensors.
But they go out not on anyways
2007-06-21 [kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk kkk]: I dare say it'sprobably nothing but I seem to see them a lot more than is normal
2007-06-28 [Paul Doyle]: Anybody else ever have strange things happen with mundane objects, that can't be explained by rational means---and possibly have some benevolence hidden between the lines of the baldness-induc
2007-06-28 [Lothuriel]: Cool, I'll check it out!
My husband has some serious EMF issues!
2007-06-28 [Paul Doyle]: At first I thought the loss of my eyeglasses was serious ADHD issues :P
2007-08-09 [Mordigen]: .....OK...why am I just now hearing about this page?? *aHEMaHEM* I have more than a few friends on this list....*cocks up brow* trying to get rid of me??? *sobs*
2007-08-09 [TheRogue]: LOL!!!
2007-08-09 [TheRogue]: Believe it or not.. I've driven down the road and watched streetlights go out as I passed them.. 3-4 at a time.. and then come back and they all be back on.. but that's only 2-3 times that I know of in my lifetime.. nothing special.. probably just bad timing. :D
2007-08-09 [Mordigen]: hahahaha, they have timers on them ya know silly :P
2007-08-09 [Mordigen]: I have about a half a million myspace page links....but i dunno if that is relevant enough to post on here or not -- but if it is just tell me and i will add away
2007-08-09 [TheRogue]: yeah well this is at times when they shouldn't go out like night time.. so PFFTBBT
2007-08-09 [Yuriona]: Aww dang... that kinda stuff never happens to me though occasionally I'll know who's on the phone when it rings or know the next song on the radio without it being introduced by the DJ.
2007-08-09 [Mordigen]: well you know what?? they also have heat sensors and if they get too hot, then they automatically turn off to avoid them from EXPLODING and and and sparking and like burning down neighborhoods and stuff, so PPFPFPFFFFFFT XP
2007-08-09 [TheRogue]: guess i'm just a supah hottie then..
2007-08-10 [Mordigen]: XD I personally think Kevin Smith is a total catch LOL
2007-08-10 [TheRogue]: you must be a chubby chaser too then.. ^_^ that's what he calls girls who dig on the biggie size men..
2007-08-10 [Elisha Kelly]: meh size really doesn't matter... I go for eyes... the most beautiful eyes I ever saw on a bloke was from a boy who used to sit behind me in math... he was morbidly obese... but man did he have beautiful skin and eyes... :D lovely fellow...
2007-08-20 [moonscale]: I could use a little help and this seems to be the only place where it would make sense to ask. My friend has recently been having a lot of very accurate dreams that tell her about things she shouldn't neccesarily know. I told her it's probably a combination of her being intelligent and observant and making accurate asssumptions and also a bit of something else. She should just accpet it and use it when its useful but not take it so seriously. The future isn't set in stone and while it can be helpful if you find things out you wouldn't otherwise you shouldn't think that your dreams are dooming you to a certain future. She still seems a bit nervous. She has a tendency to overreact to the slightest imagined problems. Does anyone know something that might help her?
2007-08-20 [TheRogue]: It is something she is going to have to learn to cope with. She just needs to understand that her subconcious is building the most viable potential scenario based on what her subconcious mind picks up throughout the day. There is alot of information that you see and pick up and don't even know it. Her subconcious is merely stacking these things together into a formula. I have many dreams about things that come true later, but many others are completely off and only pieces of truth actually happen.. like saying a certain phrase right after or before a particular action...
2007-08-20 [TheRogue]: Tell her to remain aware of these things, and not to focus on them. Also, when she focuses on them, they usually never come to pass, beCAUSE she's focusing on them. :)
hope that helped.
2007-08-21 [moonscale]: Thank you, you put it very well. I'll pass on the message.
2007-08-22 [Mordigen]: *sighs* -.- a LOT of shit breaking out in the parainvestigat
2007-08-26 [Morningstar Rising]: This pass week has been rather intersting, from being awoken cause someone pokes your leg 3 times, to hearing someone calling to you and yet you are alone in the house. Having the feeling that someone is watching you and seeing shadows from the corner of eyes, where its impossible for anyone to stand. *shakes self* Kind of buggy.
2007-08-26 [moonscale]: Heh. I've had a rather difficult week too. I'm hyperempathic and a lot of my friends are going through some rough times. I try and help them out as much as possible but I get a lot of backlash emotionally as a result. I woke up a couple mornings ago and I felt physically sick and I really wanted to check my cell phone. It turned out I had a text message from my boyfriend. Even though he didn't really say anything I knew he was really unhappy. It was very strange.
2007-08-26 [Morningstar Rising]: Its like there's something in the air, its kind of thick, but you can't see it or feel it, yet you know that something is there.
